Each year General Sir John Monash Scholarships are awarded to outstanding graduates from Australian universities, who have demonstrated leadership skills, and have a vision for a better Australia.
The Scholarship enables them to undertake Masters or Doctoral degrees at the world’s best universities, and bring home that knowledge.
Scholars are selected for their intellect, character, and their likely benefit to the Australian community, through a rigorous application and interview process
Nearly one hundred scholars have been selected over the past decade and many are already making a significant contribution to Australian society, in the fields of medicine, economics, law, engineering and science, politics and many others.
The Origin Energy Foundation provided scholarships funding for 12 years in the area of Sustainability and Engineering.
